About us

The Rotary Club of Grantham was formed in 1931 and presently has 36 active members.

The Club meets for lunch every other Monday at 12.50pm (excluding Bank Holidays) at the Angel & Royal Hotel, High Street, Grantham. Visiting Rotarians and guests of members are always welcome.

Our club’s major annual fund raising project is the "RotarySwimarathon" which was inaugurated in 1990 and through the efforts of the sponsors of the swimmers more than £983,000 has been raised and distributed to local charities and deserving causes in and around Grantham.

We also support International Charities either individually or through Rotary Foundation.

Our club is very “hands on“when it comes to help in the community.

We assist local school students with their career development through our “Mock Interview” programme and also sponsor candidates to attend Rotary Youth Leadership courses.  The environment is very important to us and we are currently working towards planting new trees in the town.
