About us

The Rotary Club of Peterborough is part of an international movement.

Members are enthusiastic, fun-loving volunteers.

ALL OF THE MONEY FROM OUR FUND-RAISING ACTIVITIES GOES TO REGISTERED CHARITIES.

We are registered with the Charity Commission (registered charity number 1026466).

We have a separate account for our charity work.

Members pay for the cost of running the Club.  This year, the annual subscription is £120.

This covers the £113 capitation fee due to the District and Great Britain and Ireland tiers of Rotary.

The capitation fee has to be paid by all clubs.

And leaves a £7 towards the cost of running the Club.

We have a separate account for our Club costs, and pay for all our own meetings and social events.

We work together, and with other local organizations, to use our time, talents and expertise to serve

communities at home and abroad.

We are drawn from all parts of this diverse city and surrounding area, and are active,

or have backgrounds, in business, enterprise, education, healthcare and local government.

Here in Peterborough we relish great business and social networking opportunities,

whilst giving something back to those less fortunate.

This might be through the range of projects in which we are involved, as well as fund-raising

so that we can make donations locally, nationally and internationally.

Check the "Meetings And Events" and "Happening Soon" features, for details of when and

where we meet, and future activities.  And please use the "Contact Us" feature to get in touch.
