Getting Behind Little Miracles

Getting Behind Little Miracles

July 2023: We gave £500 to the Little Miracles charity, which works with children and families with additional needs. This will go towards new items for their sensory room in Queensgate.

Crocus Café Christmas Carols, Coffee And Cakes!

Crocus Café Christmas Carols, Coffee And Cakes!

The local Rotary Choir, plus children from All Saints Primary School, entertained people with dementia, and their carers, at the regular Crocus Café meet-up.

We've supported this charity for many years, by active participation, and part-funding sessions for 70 children with special educational needs. In September 2023, we launched a new craft, funded by the former Peterborough Minster Rotary Club.

About us

The Rotary Club of Peterborough is part of an international movement.

Members are enthusiastic, fun-loving volunteers.

We are registered with the Charity Commission (registered charity number 1026466).

We have a separate account for our charity work.

Members pay for the cost of running the Club.  This year, the annual subscription is £120.

This covers the £113 capitation fee due to the District and Great Britain and Ireland tiers of Rotary.

The capitation fee has to be paid by all clubs.

And leaves a £7 towards the cost of running the Club.

We have a separate account for our Club costs, and pay for all our own meetings and social events.

We work together, and with other local organizations, to use our time, talents and expertise to serve

communities at home and abroad.

We are drawn from all parts of this diverse city and surrounding area, and are active,

or have backgrounds, in business, enterprise, education, healthcare and local government.

Here in Peterborough we relish great business and social networking opportunities,

whilst giving something back to those less fortunate.

This might be through the range of projects in which we are involved, as well as fund-raising

so that we can make donations locally, nationally and internationally.

Check the "Meetings And Events" and "Happening Soon" features, for details of when and

where we meet, and future activities.  And please use the "Contact Us" feature to get in touch.
