The Rotary Club of Teignmouth held it’s Charity Golf Day, in glorious sunshine at the Teignmouth Golf Club. 150 golfers contributed to the successful event and as one of the principal beneficiaries, Epilepsy Action – Torbay Branch received a cheque for £1000 from Club President Nigel Edwards.
Epilepsy Action – Torbay Branch was Nigel’s personal charity for his year of office and in presenting the cheque he said he was grateful for the support received from so many members and friends for his special project which had resulted in the Rotary Club being able to make the donation.
The Golf Stableford competitions were won with scores on 96 for the men and 81 for the ladies.
