Rotary District Quiz

Former holders Rhyl will be aiming for more success when they face latest opponents Llandudno in the second round of the Rotary District 1180 annual quiz with a home fixture at Faenol Fawr next Tuesday night January 10, commencing at 6-15pm. Following the customary Christmas break, Rhyl members will gather for their first meeting of the year and are anticipating another stern test in this popular competition having impressively secured their place with a resounding victory over Rhos-on-Sea. To add to the occasion this has been designated an open meeting with wives and partners invited to welcome in the new year, while visitors Llandudno are expected to bring along a strong contingent of supporters to get behind their four-strong team. President Rod Brocklehurst will take the opportunity to update members on the club’s pre-Christmas duties at the recent Father Christmas grotto staged at Kinmel Bay garden centre in conjunction with neighbouring organising club St Asaph.
