Our Small Grants Scheme for local organisations is open for applications from 2nd October until 23rd October


 

ROTARY CLUB GIVEAWAY!

Our ‘Small Grant Scheme’ project, attracts a range of applications.  The scheme offers small grants to voluntary and charity groups, to assist with such costs as special projects or purchase of equipment. 

Previous applications were made by groups across the area and awards were made to:

 

  • About Town CIC - Community Cuppa & blankets - £225

  • Ormskirk Parkrun - Defib pads & First Aid kits - £165

  • Ormskirk Family History - Cabinets for artifacts - £250

  • Cystic Fibrosis Ormskirk Branch - Medals for Fun Run - £200

  • Tanhouse Morris Dancers - Competition dresses - £250

  • Kingfisher Club - Activity tables - £200

  • Ormskirk Quilters - Fleece for quilts - £250

  • Well-Being Cafe - Funding for a new laptop - £198

  • Appleton Fields - Plants for a wildflower meadow -£246

 

 

Awardees said: “You have just made my day and am thrilled with your award.”  And “That’s fantastic news, thank you so much!”

 

The next window for applying for one of our small grants will open on Thursday 5th March 2026 for three weeks.
