On FRIDAY 31 JANUARY community groups who helped us with this years float met for a social and networking evening at St Patrick's Centre and were presented with donations for their assistance. In total £1400 was distributed to the participating organisations whose help was fully appreciated.
The participating organisations were:
District C of E School
Wargrave House School
Boys and Girls Club
Newton Community Centre
Newton and Earlestown Community Group
Burtonwood Community
Earlestown Cricket Club
Business for Youth and Earlestown Christmas Lights
This year we added two more routes to our christmas schedule; Viaduct Estate, Earlestown and the Stone Cross area of Lowton. Without the help of the local community groups we would not be able to cover our area.
If your community organisation would be interested in helping in the future please get in touch via our contact page. We are continuing to build our community network. and we are always looking for new members.
