ROTARY YOUNG CITIZENS AWARDS

Our nominees for this year's event.

This year Rotary Great Britain and Ireland received a very high calibre of nominations, making the task of selecting the winners incredibly challenging for our judges. Although non of our nominees were successful in the final judging, the club has made presentations to each of them for their outstanding work in the community.

Organisations represented were: Ascent College, Hope Academy and Business for Youth.

Student award winners were : Alicia Roberts, Zahra Batti, Neve Lewis, Vin Stokes, Jessica Hookway, Emily Martin and Sophia Kay.

Details of this competition can be found here:Young Citizen

On May 2 President Ray attended an award ceremony at Hope Academy where students were presented with Rotary GB&I certificates and gift vouchers from the club. A fitting start to what is Rotary theme month for May.
