PRESIDENT RAY'S LATEST VISIT

On April 6, whist on holiday in South Africa, President Ray pays a visit to check on the status of our visit.


 

On their first full day in South Africa, Ray, his wife and friends spent the afternoon with President Ragu Govender and his wife Charmaine at their home for Sunday Lunch. Ragu who is also Vice Chairman of his District Membership Team, will take up his new role of Assistant Governor in 2025 - 26, when Charmaine will succeed him as President of the Rotary Club of Northcliff.  Such inspirational and active Rotarians.

 

Ray visited the school on the following day to see how the work was progressing and met with some of the students when they returned back to school.

 

Ray sent a number of photos to update the International Committee on the works in progress to join the library and

the currently un-used computer, resource room.

There is some disruption to the library due to the current works

There will be a safe storage room to be used store laptops and other valuables when not in use.

It was suggested that charging points be incorporated within this room so that laptops can be charged overnight and ready for the next day.

Photos shows the opened-up space with the library at the far end and President Ray with a group of

learners from the school who like having their photographs taken.
