Rotary Club of Rochdale East's sponsored walk around Hollingworth Lake and surrounding areas.
Rotary Club of Rochdale East organised a sponsored walk at Hollingworth Lake and surrounding areas in May 2012.
Despite inclement weather throughout the majority of May, lady luck looked favourably on us and a fine, sunny day awaited us on the morning of the walk.
A good turn out of participents for the walk set off on the journey through Littleborough, Smithy Bridge, Clegg Hall and then finally back round Hollingworth Lake.
Hopefully, another walk is planned for May 2013, this time around the Tandle Hill area. Confirmation of date and time to follow.......watch this space !
