Visit of District 1060 Governer

A recent visitor ro the Kenilworth Rotary was Denzil Williams, the current Rotary District 1060 Governor.

Denzil Williams recently paid a visit  to Kenilworth Rotary, joining us for one of our regular fortnightly meetings at the Holiday Inn.

He updated us on Rotary events both in the UK as well as Internationally, important as Rotary International has approximately 1.2 million members, operating in 32,000 Clubs.

He expressed his appreciation of the Club's work in the community, raising substantial funds for local needs, as well as contributions to Internatiional causes, remarking that "you punch higher than your weight"

A cerificate was presented to the President, in recognition of the Club's donation to the Rotary world-wide programme to eliminate Polio.
