Congratulations to Cris Barlow on receiving his Certificate of Thanks from MNDA which was presented to him at a Rotary Club Dinner on March 25 by our President, Stephen Cook.
On a very warm summer's day Cris Barlow undertook a personal challenge to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association in memory of a friend.
Cris is an above-the-knee amputee. With Bob Cooper, Flempton's Mens' Golf Captain, Cris set out to complete a continuous round of 45-holes. They were successful! We were full of admiration.
We congratulate Cris and Bob on raising over £5600 and offer our thanks to all their supporters.
