A highly controversial finish as two Jockeys fought for the winning post, two Bexhill Rotarians, Ray Dixon riding Welsh Wizard of John the Water and Rodney Gadsden riding Rampant Robin of Luscious Lynn.
Welsh Wizard was declared the winner after an appeal from Rampant Robin, the rider maintaining his horses' bottom was over the line before his head!!! Rodney Gadsden has been suspended from riding for 7 days for wasting Stewards time.
