'Thanks for Life' is the title of a week's celebration across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
It focuses on the success of a 25 year campaign by Rotary International to irradicate Polio. Click here for more information on the Thanks for Life campaign. Please also scroll down this page and spare just a few minutes to watch Konnie Huq's 2 part report from India.
During that period, during which millions and millions of Polio 'injections'
have been given worldwide, the people of Rugeley have been involved, thanks to your rotary Club.
Here in Rugeley, we regularly sell attractive purple lapel croci on various collection days and at the events that we appear at. We are always delighted to give you more information on the condition and share with you the success of the Rotary initiative and the likelyhood of completely removing Polio from the world.
If you want to make a donation, you can do so by sending a cheque or cash to:
|Rotary Club of Rugeley|
|C/O The Secretary|
Please write "POLIO" on the reverse of your cheque or envelope.
