President's Night 2010

President Tony Wortman held his President's Night at the Marriott Hotel, Seaburn. Peter Kelly sang hits from years ago as well as current numbers. There was then a disco until midnight.


 It was a most enjoyable evening for the 70 plus people who attended.  These included PDG's Ron Goodwin and Tony Fairley and their wives, plus presidents from neighbouring clubs and friends.

more Our annual Ladies Evening was held at the Seaburn Marriott Hotel. Complementary reception drinks at 7.00pm before dinner at 7.30pm. Dancing was to a live band 'Cats' Night Out' after the meal. Everyone had a most enjoyable night out.

Club Dinner 2011

Rotary Carol Service 2011

more Seaburn Rotary Club organised the Carol Service this year. It was the traditional Nine Lessons and Carols at 7.00 pm at All Saints' Church, Monkwearmouth, which the 70 people who attended really enjoyed. After the service wine and mince pies were served.

60th Charter Anniversary President's Night 2011

more We planned a special night for our Diamond Anniversary, with a delicious meal at the Seaburn Marriott, followed by guest speaker Rotarian Fred Calvert and then dancing until midnight. Everyone enjoyed the evening enormously.

Club Dinner 2012

more The club heldits annual dinner at the Sea Hotel, South Shields on Monday 5th March at 7.00pm for 7.30pm. Everyone enjoyed a 3 course meal. The speaker was local comedian Alan Fox.
