Walks gone by

The club has organised a number of walks over the years some have been sponsored fund raisers - here are three.

This is the first recorded walk event the club organised was a linear walk from the Cuckmere estuary through the Severn Sisters Country Park, lunch with a Pint in Birgling Gap, Ice Creams at Beachy Head and transport waiting to pick us up for the journey home on the front at Eastbourne - a perfect day if ever there was one.

The next was our first sponsored walk around Woldingham - ending at a members house for an al fresco lunch.

The third was also sponsored and went along the Thames from Hampton Court to Richmond and lunch were you could find it in the crowded hostelries of that Thames side homney pot.
