British Heart Foundation swim

British Heart Foundation fund raising swim.

Swimmers in the water at the start of the swim

Members of the Rugeley Rotary assisted with marshalling and stewarding when the British Heart Foundation held its first fund raising swim at Blithfield Reservoir.

There were around 200 swimmers who all completed the 1 mile course.  The first swimmer came home in around 20 minutes whilst the last swimmer took just over the hour.

More information about the British Heart Foundation and their events can be found on their website.
