Grumpy Old Men

A talk by Mr Archie Livingston.

With a huge choice of Grumpy Old Men to pick from, Archie Livingstone started with Bob Webster who told us, amongst other things, of the delights of air travel. Following on from Bob, Archie introduced John McLeod who had a moan about women with tattoos, inappropriate apostrophes, old people and computer viruses. Woe betide any overseas call centre staff who cannot pronounce his name when they call him. Archie then gave the floor to to John Foster whose personal gripes revolved around people who spread rumours, women who cannot park and his personal favourite dislike of people who chatter in second hand bookshops. Finally, John Pow finished off by reading a poem by Hamish Blair on the delights of "Bloody Orkney."
