Rotary Foundation Scholar, Lindi van Niekerk, from Claremont, Pretoria, qualified as a doctor in S.Africa, carried out 2 years research into tuberculosis for the Global Fund and is currently studying Health Service Management at the London School of Hygene & Tropical Medicine, sponsored by Rotary.
Lindi outlined the disturbing history of Healthcare in S.Africa through the years of apartheid.
