A new venue for 2011 saw President Alan Matthews and Committee Chairman David Mortimer welcoming eight shortlisted nominees to the impressive new Village Hall at North Stainley.
What a treat for those attending. All eight students would have been worthy recipients of the three major prizes, but finally Jason Amy and David were the lucky ones and their success has been well received by schools, charities and voluntary organisations throughout Ripon. No doubt mothers and fathers had smiling faces too.
A special thanks to David and his committee for organising such a worthwhile event. Special thanks to Margaret Mortimer for her home made biscuits, and to a good friend, Frank Bailey for his considerable help.
