The Rotary Club of Bridlington has handed prizes to young people who have made a difference this year.

At a ceremony held at the Balmoral Hotel in December, Rotary President Darren Saul handed book tokens and certificates to six teenagers for outstanding contributions at school, whether it be through Peer Mentoring or any other situation where the pupils put other people first.

The prizes are handed out by Rotary, but are nominated by the youngsters schools three from Bridlington and Three from Headlands.

The winners from Bridlington School were Blain Nicholson, Emma Smith, and Rebecca Rudd. The winners from Headlands were Gemma Warters, Abbie Pares, and Lauren Banks.
