Bewdley High School has produced some impressive photographers from amongst its students and success has been gained by the winners of the Club round of the Competition in 2009, 2010, 2014, 2017 and 2019 at district and national level rounds.
2010 was the first year that the competition was entered into by a local primary school. A pupil from Chaddesley Corbett Endowed Primary School who won the Club round then went on to win the district round and then to achieve second place in the national final. In 2016 another entry from Chaddesley Corbett School came second in the District round. In 2017 Far Forest Primary School entered into the competition for the first time followed in 2019 by St Anne's Primary School who also achieved success in the District round.
In 2018 the Interact Club at Bewdley School was re-formed. The prime area of focus currently for the Year 8 group is to raise funds to equip a library at Cornerstone School in Kititi, Uganda. In 2019 a second Interact group was formed in Year 7 who call themselves Wildlife Savers and their prime area of focus is improving the local environment in order to improve habitat for wildife.
In 2016 we formed a Rotakids Club at Chaddesley Corbett Primary School which is still going strong with young people from years 5 and 6 organising at least one international project, one community project and one school project each year.
