Community and Vocational

The Community Committee deals with our local area, seeking to help those in need.

We provide evenings of entertainment for a number of the local care homes- this involves bucketfuls of enthusiasm, and occasional flashes of talent! We regularly take an active part in the annual 'know your blood pressure' day, working with the Stroke Association. Funds are raised in varied ways: The supply and delivery of around 150 Christmas trees each year, metal detecting days, charity golf days, a quiz evening. The funds raised allow us to provide limited financial support, We are always interested to hear of local organisations, or individuals, who would like some practical help in terms of manpower.
