The Club is involved with many local community events. This can be in the form of marshalling at the Ilfracombe Jack in the Green procession for May Day, The Carnival in August, Lighting the Lights and other major events, or helping with events such as the Forces March and Ilfracombe Triathlon.

The Club also plans and organises its own fund-raising events such as car boot sales and has run a 'pop-up' charity shop for several years running.

We also keep members informed of current local issues such as opportunities to support One Ilfacombe with its Dementia Awareness project.

The Community & Vocational Committee considers letters requesting financial help and makes recommendations to Club Council for further consideration.
