Star Trek

Organised by Ilfracombe Rotary Clubs, Startrek was an annual orienteering event which raised in excess of £900k, most of which has been donated to North Devon Hospice and Children's Hospice SW

A challenging orienteering night walk over the local moors and hills raised funds for local charities.

One of the largest fund raising events done by any Rotary Club in Great Britain.  Started in 1990 each year until 2019.  StarTrek was a team orienteering nightwalk which took place in late February or early March each year and raised in excess of £900,000 for North Devon Hospice and Children's Hospice South West.

Unfortunately this event has now ceased but we are proud of the achievements made during its active period. Thank you to all volunteers that helped with the staging of the event and for the many entrants that made it possible to run for such a long period and raise so much money for charity.
