Remembrance Tree: In the week before Christmas each year the Rotary Club, Dublin runs a Remembrance Tree Project in Dundrum Town Centre. Shoppers are invited to write the name of a Loved One on a card which is then attached to a Ribbon on the Tree. They are then invited to make a contribution to the Saint Vincent DePaul. Over €100,000 has been collected so far with this Project.
All the cards are presented at an Ecumenical Service in January of each year.
Saint Andrew’s Resource Centre: This Centre is in Pearse Street Dublin 2 and caters for a wide range of needs for the community. The Club’s Trust Fund recently donated €25,000 to upgrade their Audio Visual facilities, provide LED Lighting and to support their Youth Project work.
