Projects include Rotary Youth Leadership Action (RYLA), Rotary Young Chef, Rotary Young Musician, Junior Golf Competition, Rotary Young Golfer, Primary School Quiz, KidsOut

A club vocational visit is also being arranged for the Spring.

Updates on the projects are:

RYLA - Two sponsored students were nominated for the 2012 programme, Ellinor Dobie and Marcus Owtram.  They returned to give us their feedback in November.

Two more students have now been selected for sponsorship for 2013.

Young Golfer 2011 - The previously flooded out final was eventually held on 11th April 2012.  Our two participants from Duns did well, but not unfortunately among the trophies.  There's always next year (later on this year!).

Young Musician - Two Duns musicians progressed through to the final at Stewart's Melville in 2012.  They both performed excellently but the competition was very tight indeed - making it a most enjoyable evening - and sadly neither featured amongst the leaders.

Primary School Quiz Winners  Primary School Quiz - The 2013 competition in Duns takes place on 1 February 2013.  more on the 2012 Quiz

KIDS OUT - This year's event is being held on Wednesday 12th June 2013 and arrangements are being finalised with Berwickshire High School.  more on the 2012 event
