Annual planting of crocuses with the help of local primary school children.
Why do we plant around 15,000 crocus corms around the town and surrounding villages each year? To remind us that Rotary International has almost eradicated polio from the world. Details at https://www.endpolio.org/rotary-and-the-fight-against-polio
This autumn we will plant another batch of 15,000 crocus corms in and around the town and neighbouring villages. We hope once again to be able to do this in partnership with some of the local primary schools.
