Charles Young is the Chief Executive of the Greenock Medical Aid Society. The society came about after the amalgamation of The Greenock Destitute Society, founded in 1798, and The Greenock Medical Aid, founded in 1876.This took place in 1917 with the name being settled as The Greenock Medical Aid Society as it was the stronger group at that time.
