Club History

About our club

The Rotary Club of Manchester Breakfast was chartered in August 1992. It is a daughter club of the original Manchester club and was the first dual-gender Rotary Club (as well as the only breakfast club) in District 1050. The breakfast meeting time was chosen specifically to assist those people who would find it difficult to attend a Rotary meeting at either lunchtime or in the evening.

Our original membership consisted of business & professional people who either worked or lived in the south-city area. Over time we have moved jobs and moved houses and now have members from as far afield as Poynton; Prestwich and Sale.

We have always been known as a rather lively club (despite the early start) and all visitors are sure to get a very warm and friendly welcome.

Why not come along and find out?
