A report on Clay pigeon shooting

CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING

Every year the clay pigeon shooting group invite the president to one of their evenings.Nick, who is in charge, sent the invitation.

We meet a Nettleton Shooting Lodge and have 50 sporting clays per person. The stands vary, some being relatively easy and some, well quite difficult! Nevertheless we all enjoy the evening.

This year was no different when President Mike joined us for the evening. Very sensibly he had brought a scarf to cushion the recoil of the shot gun. All beginners suffer with a few bruises until they  get used to the gun.He received excellent tuition from Benji and even managed to hit a few clays.

At the end of the evening we retired to a local pub for a bar meal and drinks. As usual it was an enjoyable evening.

My thanks to Nick for the photograph.
