Cambuslang station has being given a colourful makeover by the towns Rotary club, as part of a ScotRail community project.
Led by local Rotarian Mike Netten members of Cambuslang Rotary Club recently filled eight new half-barrel planters installed by ScotRail with floral decorations.
The work follows the club adopting the station under ScotRails Adopt a Station scheme.
Members have also offered to tend to an existing planter at the station.
Nigel Wunsch, club secretary, said: "We think people will enjoy the planters, which are part of our work to make the station a brighter and more welcoming place for customers, staff and nearby residents.
John Yellowlees, ScotRails external relations manager, said: "Our Adopt a Station project is about putting stations at the heart of their communities, and we are delighted that Cambuslang Rotary Club has taken on the towns station.
The clubs work is already having an impact in making the station a more attractive place for ScotRail customers.
Cambuslang is the tenth Scottish Rotary Club to adopt its local station.
