7:00pm Dinner - Robert Brown

Unfortunately, due to illness, our speaker, Mr Robert Brown was unable to make it this evening.  Our very own Allister Boyle stepped in literally at a moment's notice and gave an extremely intersting talk on SCUBA diving.  Al is a very experienced diver and diving instructor and his talk was much appreciated by all.  Since President John MacLeod was also unavailble, Allister also stood in as President, overseeing the evening's fun, hence the unusual photo of our stand-in president with the evening's speaker.  We also had the pleasure of hosting 12 guests from the Rotary Club of Greenock, including their current President, Mr Mike Kimpton.  This proved to be a great success and, hopefully, will be repeated in the near future.
