On Sunday 11th June 2006:
The Rotary Club of the Isle of Sheppey held its 14th Annual Sponsored Walk. The walk started from the Elmley Nature Reserve, off the old Sheppey Way, and followed the trail around the reserve, giving those who walked an opportunity to see rare birds in their natural habitat while enjoying the walk and the glorious sunshine.
The walk raised funds for the two charities, the Swale & Medway Coastguard Association and the RNLI, both chosen charities of President Howard Gardner whose year as president draws to a close at the end of June.
Special thanks to PP David Brown for the photoghraphs.
