Young Chef Competition

The competition aims to encourage young people of secondary school age to develop a range of skills involved in the preparation of a two- or three-course meal.


The Rotary Young Chef competition aims to encourage young people to:

  • develop cookery skills
  • develop food presentation skills
  • consider healthy eating options and food hygiene issues
  • prove their organisational and planning skills and
  • prove their ability to cope in a demanding situation.
