District Final - Young Musician Competition

The Young instrumentalist and young vocalist finals were held in Swansea University on Saturday 16th February
The district finals of the young musician competiton for vocalists and instrumentalists were held in the Taliesin Arts Centre at Swansea University on Saturday 16th February. There was a very strong field with 8 vocalists and 9 instrumentalists from around South, West and Mid Wales. The 2 competitors sponsored by Llantwit Major Rotary were singer Asha Fletcher-Peters and clarinettist Angharad (Katie) Wynne, with Angharad being awarded the instrumentalist runner-up prize. The audience was treated to a wonderful afternoon and evening's top quality musical entertainment.
