6 July 2013 - Doune and Dunblane Show Crepe Stall

Sat, Jul 6th 2013 at 12:00 am - 12:00 am

The club was again selling crepes at the annual Doune and Dunblane Show at Keir Mains.

On Saturday 6 July, the sun shone on the Doune and Dunblane Show at Keir Mains, unlike the previous year when the event had to be cancelled due to the wet conditions.

The usual ritual of putting up the tent kept members busy for an hour or so while waiting for the crowds to appear.

After a slowish start, the good weather brought people out and soon the crepe makers were hard at work providing the usual variety of filled crepes, tea, coffee and soft drinks.

Over £400 was raised for Community Service which chair John Kilby declared to be a very satisfactory outcome and he thanked all the members and spouses who had helped during the day.
