The Welshpool Rotary Club line-up for 2013/14 is Olwen John (President) Peter Hodgson (Senior Vice President) Ewen MacLeod (Junior Vice President) The Rotary year begins at the end of June.

The Wise owl Quiz (Rotary v Inner Wheel) took place at the Royal Oak Hotel on April 24th. After a close-fought contest Inner Wheel scraped to victory by two points, 33 - 31. Jan Eagles, team captain, accepted the Wise Owl trophy from Rotary President Roger Eagles.

Thanks were expressed to Margaret Harvey for setting the questions.

The club held a book sale in the Corn Exchange on Saturday April 27th. Thousands of books were on view, and the money raised will go to local charities and good causes.
