Duns Golf Charity Competition

Thu, Aug 8th 2013 at 12:00 am - 12:00 am

Duns Rotary Club's annual Charity Golf Competition started in 1998 and has raised more than £43,000. This year we are hoping to contribute a further £3,000 to various good causes and are grateful for the support of Playnation as main sponsors.

This year's competition is being held on 8th August at Duns Golf Club.  If you have never played a round here then you will be pleasantly surprised at the quality of the course, which is gaining a growing reputation as a good test of golf as well as a very attractive venue.  This is an opportunity to try it, and at the same time contribute to charity.

In fact every team that enters will receive a voucher from Duns Golf Club which entitles them to a 2 for 1 offer for each team member. So: enter early and have a cheap practice round, courtesy of Duns Golf Club!

The format for the competition promotes a good social day as well as good golf, i.e.:

  • Teams of Four (Gents, Ladies, Mixed)
  • All four players play the round together
  • The two best Stableford scores at each hole will count

Full details of the Entry Conditions can be viewed and downloaded here. Every team wishing to compete should complete an entry form available here.

As in previous years we can promise you a wide range of good quality prizes totalling around
