Doing Good in the World

The Rotary Foundation

The Rotary Foundation is our own charity and has helped millions of people all over the world and within our own city. The main project at the moment is our aim to rid the world of the crippling disease, polio with our "End Polio Now" campaign. When we first made the promise to rid the world of polio in 1985 there were over 50,000 cases reported each year, we are now so close as it is now only endemic in 3 countries and Africa has not had a case for almost a year. With global figures now down to just less than 50 cases a year we are this close.

Passionately Purple Gin now has a new Honey Gin to help End Polio Now.

Now two opportunities to help eradicate polio by working with Salford with Swinton Rotary and enjoying unique craft gins. Each bottle sold in collaboration with award winning gin distillers Sandgrown Spirits, helps save lives.
The Passionately Purple Gin, already a firm favourite, symbolises the Polio Campaign Colour, is joined by the exciting “A Taste of Honey” a delicately spiced gin which is simply the Bees Knees.

A slightly sweeter twist on the Classic Passionately Purple Gin it is infused with Worsley Honey, more choices, more fun and more opportunities to End Polio.
