Life Education Wessex

Life Education Wessex is a specialist charity Provider of high quality Health and Drug Prevention Education to almost 60,000 children in Devon, Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset.

An independent and self-supporting charity working in partnership with schools, parents and the wider community to help children between the ages of 3 and 13 develop the ability to make positive, informed choices about their health, and reduce the risk of drug misuse.  They help to ensure the children have the knowledge, skills and confidence to lead safe, healthy and happy lives.

They teach children about the importance of a good diet, exercise and how drugs can affect the way the body works.  In addition, they help them to develop the skills to manage their feelings and the risks they may encounter so that they can take responsibility for their own lives.

They are a recognised Delivery Partner of the UKs leading health and drug education programme
