Welshpool Rotary Club held an evening meeting at The Royal Oak Hotel on December 4th. Speaker was Twice Past President Dennis Duggan, who gave a PowerPoint presentation about the club's visit to Norway in June 2012. The Welshpool club is twinned with the Rotary Klubb of Skjeberg in Norway.
President Olwen John welcomed a record number of visitors: Kaye Derwas, Stephanie Duggan, Jan Eagles, Margaret Harvey, Jennifer Platt, Martin Waterton. A special welcome was given to Megan McPartlin, granddaughter of Tony and Margaret Harvey, who was visiting from Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania.
The vote of thanks was given by Peter Hodgson.
