Fantastic Response to the Shoebox Appeal

The Rotary Clubs of the Calder Valley join together at Christmas to collect shoeboxes filled by people in the community with items for distribution to the less fortunate.

Each year we assist in distributing shoeboxes in the run up to Christmas across Calderdale in conjuntion with other Rotary clubs, to be filled with items for those less fortunate.

Many are handed out at local supermarkets and different goups have come together to organise shoebox collection.

For 2020, the shoe boxes are in Tesco Sowerby Bridge and King Cross.
