Music Competition

The Rotary Club of North Down is proud that for more than twenty years it has organised a highly successful music competition for children up to the age of 11 in primary schools. The rules stipulate that entrants should have achieved at least Grade 3 standard and every year audiences at the Finals Night are amazed at the quality of music which the young people produce. It is a joy to listen to them and to know that the opportunity to perform and to hear others of their peers doing so is in itself a valuable learning experience.

The Club is able to offer entrance to the competition free of charge as a result of the generous help that it receives from the Governors of Towerview Primary School, Bangor, from the Ards and North Down Council Arts Committee, from the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment and from local businesses.

Using the buttons on this page you can access the documents relating to entrance for the competition and also see the results of the last competition to be held.
