Michelle is a member of the Inner Wheel (IW) club of Aotea Auckland in District NZ291, New Zealand. District NZ291 covers Inner Wheel clubs throughout Auckland, Northland and the Pacific Islands, NZ291 also covers Rotary Districts 9910 and 9920.
She was a charter member of the club which was the first New Generation club to be formed in NZ. Since joining Inner Wheel in 2008, Michelle has held many club positions including Club President and since 2011 has been the District editor for NZ291. Last year she was nominated to be International IW Editor and was elected into this position earlier this year. She is visiting England for IIW executive meeting in Manchester. Her new role includes managing the IIW website and working for the IIW President and Immediate Past President to assist with producing promotional material of Inner Wheel Internationally.
Michelle is also the Development Manager for the Charity Look Good Feel Better, New Zealand. Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) is the only international cancer support charity. At LGFB we aim to put a smile on the face of every woman and teen with cancer. We are there with support, guidance and free makeover workshops at a difficult time in their lives when they need it most. At Look Good Feel Better we understand that the way we look on the outside can have a powerful influence on how we feel on the inside.
