Audri is a former Director of Alan Day Holdings, a family company which specialised in superior quality carsit  currently focuses on property development in the London and outer London areas.  In recent years, the business side of her activities has given way to academic studies at Middlesex University, where she undertook research that looked back toprevious studies in Philosophy, Art and English. This earlierwork towards a B.A. (Hons) and an M.A. - developed an interest in the philosophies and ethics of politics, together with a consideration of feminist perspectives on women’s roles and women’s relationships generally, supported by associated readings on psychology, sociology and history. Her recent research has culminated in the focus of her dissertation: Variations on a Theme - Matrilinear Relationships in the Novels of Sybille Bedford.

 

Audri founded an informal debating society, ‘The Menippeans’ which has seen a wide and eclectic range of speakers at its meetings.   She actively supports a number of charities, and promotes international events at the Reform Club, where one of her aims is to celebrate the history and diversity of different cultures.  Her additional interests includespirituality as opposed to a specific religioninvestigating and promoting how maternal attributes are a neglected power for good in today’s world; and gathering together friends and family around her dining table.
