The 2014 Rotary Summer barbecue was held on Saturday the 16th of August at Fellow Rotarian Jim Browns beautiful farm beside Fetterciarn.

It was mostly decent weather with the odd summer shower, and the venue was perfect for catering for all the Rotary members and their guests that attended.

There was plenty of food for everyone with delicious pork burgers and beef burgers and the most succulent steak cooked to perfection, courtesy of Macintosh and Donald at Portlethen.

For pudding there was plenty of dessert to go round, with fresh strawberries and cream and there was a wide variety of outdoor games to keep everyone entertained.

Members of the Laurencekirk Rotary Club all pitched in to help to make this a very successful summer barbecue with the finale of a bountiful raffle with prizes for all.

President Mike Robson gave a heartfelt vote of thanks at the end to all the people that had made this event possible.
