Brass Band Concert
On Sat 28th Feb the International Committee held a Brass Band fund raising Concert
at St Thomas Church Batley starring Drighlington Brass Band led by Musical Director
Jim Davies.
Thanks to Rotarian Steve over 70 people attended the concert and with the help of a
raffle led to a very successful and enjoyable evening.
Rotarian Nigel a member of St Thomas church introduced the evening and International Chairman John gave a short talk on the International committee fund raising charities
and expressed his thanks for use of the Church, and thanked the attendees and the
Band for giving a excellent concert. Thanks also to Steve Keith and Ian for raffle and
organistion duties and ladies Margaret, Helen, Kathryn and Carol for tea and coffee refreshments.
