Da Noon Township pre school education near Capetown

A pre school facility which is housed in metal shipping containers and looks after 130 two to six year olds.

A pre-school facility for two to six year olds, 130 in total, which is housed in metal shipping containers. It can get very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. There is no electricity on site & sanitation facilities are very basic. Our Jersey donation of 2,500GBP  is to build a proper toilet/shower block, the Blouberg Rotary Club in Capetown is raising further funds so that electricity can be installed for cooking & refrigeration.

Rotarians Ray Shead and Tony Allchurch have visited the project at different times when on holiday in Capetown with their wives Rosemary and Maggie. Such visits help to ensure our financial assistance is put to good use, as is the case here.
