The Story of the Rotary Normandy Landings & Conquest


Somehow, despite dock and petrol supply strikes by the French, Rod managed to get all 25 of us there and back safely, and educated us along the way. We will share that education more widely in photographs, given that 'the camera never lies.'

The photo presentation will be in two parts:

Part 1 will remind us of the underlying message of Normandy.

Part 2 will illustrate how some members celebrated their hard-won freedom.
