Community and Vocational Service

Message from Keith Brownlie, Chair of Community and Vocational for District 1240

I would also like to promote all Community projects supporting Rotary Colleagues in Ukraine. like to set out my priorities for the coming year

  • All Clubs to appoint a head of Community and Vocational.
  • I would also like to promote all Community projects supporting Rotary Colleagues in Ukraine. all clubs to be represented at a Bi-Monthly Zoom meeting to share best practices and to focus on District Projects.
  • I would also like to promote all Community projects supporting Rotary Colleagues in Ukraine. like to encourage a cross District dialogue with our shared satellite partners.
  • I want to encourage a return to getting involved with our local communities and getting Rotary noticed for what we do best by supporting our local community projects.
  • I believe that Rotarians have a range of skills and experience that can offer shared value and experience. We need to actively develop this offering and add value to all our community projects.

I have already held 2 sessions, or as I would also like to promote all Community projects supporting Rotary Colleagues in Ukraine. like to describe them, workshops.

The first session was at District Assembly at Writtle and the input and the discussion was encouraging.

We held a follow-up on Zoom and have another scheduled for Friday 23rd September at 5.45 pm.

All clubs are welcome and encouraged to attend.

A key project for the Group is led by past DG Bob Barclay it is called Wrap Up and Bob is actively promoting this and recently visited Basildon Rotary Club to promote it.

I would also like to promote all Community projects supporting Rotary Colleagues in Ukraine.

I will use the Bulletin to promote projects and encourage involvement.
